WebTrak

WebTrak is a tool that provides near real time information on flights. It makes it easier for citizens to follow flights and submit a noise complaint on specific flights. WebTrak displays flight tracks, aircraft types, altitudes, as well as the noise levels registered at the noise monitoring stations. Information can be consulted retroactively for a period of 30 days.

Information on flights and radar data are provided by NAV CANADA. It is not intended to be used for navigational or regulatory enforcement purposes.

For security reasons, data are available after a 10-minute delay of "real-time" tracking. Specific flight information, including airline and flight number, remains hidden. Government flight operations, such as law enforcement and military flights, are not available.

WebTrak Computer Requirements

WebTrak is supported on the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Apple Safari
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

We recommend the usage of the latest version of these browsers for the best experience.

WebTrak is best viewed using a high-speed broadband Internet connection. A dial-up connection may also be used but loading the application and data will be much slower resulting in longer waiting periods, and it will not be possible to use high levels of acceleration when replaying flights.
