Located mostly near the runways, the Aeronautics zone forms the heart of the airport site and is our raison d’être. Consequently, companies in the aeronautics sector are free to choose the location of their choice in this zone. The Aeronautics zone is the birthplace of the Airbus A220 aircraft, designed and assembled on the YMX site. It is also home to the Pratt & Whitney worldwide test facility and several key players in the Canadian aeronautics and aerospace industry.
