Aéroports de Montréal is a private, not-for-profit and financially independent corporation responsible for the management, operation and development of Montréal–Trudeau and Montréal–Mirabel international airports.
Created in 1992, Aéroports de Montréal is a local airports authority associated with Transport Canada under a long-term lease expiring in 2072. The Corporation is defined, above all, by its Mission, Vision and Values.
Aéroports de Montréal was created in 1992 to manage Montréal’s major airports, but the history of Montréal–Trudeau goes back to 1941. Montréal–Mirabel airport, inaugurated in 1975, in now an aerospace industry hub.
