Leaving Montréal

Here is what your journey through the terminal at Montréal-Trudeau will look like

1- Before leaving home

Make sure I don’t have any non-permitted items in my luggage

Check the validity period of my passport

Reserve my parking space, duty-free purchases and currency online

Check in online with my airline

Check my flight status: sign up online for the SMS alert service

2- Arriving at the airport

Recommended arrival time: 3 hours before scheduled flight time

Travel to the airport: plan extra time in case of bad weather or traffic delays

Enter by: passenger drop-off area, Departures level, Entrances 7 to 12

If I’m already checked in, have boarding pass and have no luggage, go straight to security

3- Checking in at the airport

Locate my airline’s counter using the display panel

Go to the appropriate counter or check in at a self-service kiosk (if my airline offers this service)

4- Self-tagging of luggage

If I’m already checked in, go straight to a self-service kiosk and print out my luggage tags etiquetage-bagage01.jpg

5- Services after security

Enjoy the restaurants, shopping and other services available in the public area before proceeding to security

6- Luggage drop

Leave my tagged luggage at my airline’s bag drop station or at a self-serve station (if my airline offers this option)

7- Security

Go to Departures security screening checkpoint “C”

8- Border Control

Go to the automated kiosk.

9- Services after security

10- Boarding

30 minutes before takeoff

Have my passport and boarding pass in hand for screening purposes
