Subject: COVID-19: New border measures
As of September 7, 2021, foreign nationals are be eligible to enter Canada for discretionary (non-essential) reasons, such as tourism, provided they are fully vaccinated with Government of Canada-accepted vaccines at least 14 days prior to entering Canada and meet specific entry requirements.
As of August 9, 2021, fully vaccinated citizens and permanent residents of the United States (U.S.), currently residing in the U.S., are permitted to enter Canada for discretionary (non-essential) travel.
